Beyonce Plots Her First Post-Pregnancy Concert For Hurricane Victim Relief

Beyoncé has plotted her first post-pregnancy concert set and it's going to be for a good cause, a new report from Us Weekly revealed on Thursday (September 21).

In the new report from the outlet, they revealed that Queen Bey will team up with JAY-Z to headline a hurricane benefit concert in New York City. It's all set to go down October 17 at Brooklyn's Barclay Center along with a roster of Roc Nation acts.

Beyoncé helms from Houston, Texas, so it's fitting to see the pop titan participation in this as well as Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief telethon, which was broadcast on iHeartRadio Hit Nation and 17 different networks last week. During the TV special, the pop titan appeared on screens in a pre-televised segment, where she spoke about the urgency of this situation. "During a time where it's impossible to watch the news without seeing violence or racism in this country, just when you think it couldn't possibly get worse, natural disasters take precious life, do massive damage and forever change lives, leaving behind contaminated water, flooded hospitals, schools and nursing homes," the singer said in her plea.

"Natural disasters don't discriminate. They don't see if you're an immigrant, black or white, Hispanic or Asian, Jewish or Muslim, wealthy or poor," she continued. "It doesn't matter if you're from Third Ward or River Oaks, we're all in this together. Seeing everyone of different racial, social and religious backgrounds put their own lives at risk to help each other survive, restored my faith in humanity."
