I truly laughed out loud this morning reading about the Backstreet Boy who FARTED while recording their song 'The Call'... especially because the boys then decided to keep it in the final cut.
But you wouldn't have even noticed because the fart was on beat AND key... whaaaat?
Here's how AJ explained what happened:
"So when we were in the studio with Max [Martin] making the song ‘The Call,’ Howie was in the booth and we were doing that vocal break down, [sings] ‘dun dun dun, dun dun dun dun.’ Max gave Howie his harmony. I think he was just putting so much air into the vocal that as he was singing. He went ‘dun, dun’ and he farted — but he farted not only on the beat, but in key. So Max tweaked it and made it sound like one of his patented bass sounds, and it stayed on the record.”
You feel kind of weird now, don't you?
Here's the song you can feel weird all over again listening to it and LOVING it.
Because let's face it, that is a good song. Fart and all.
