Here's today's feel-good story:
Dr. Randy Olson created an algorithm that planned a road trip that uses the most expedient route to visit all 47 National Parks in the United States.
The National Parks system was inspired by the ever-increasing popularity of the automobile as well as the U.S. Interstate system which runs through as many of the parks as possible.
The road trip totals 14,498 miles and takes about two months to complete without staying too long to see the scenery at each park.
