Here's Today's Feel-Good Story:
Hody Childress from Geraldine, Alabama was laid to rest recently. It was revealed that for a decade he was a guardian angel for the town's poor and sick residents.
As a farmer and U.S. Air Force veteran, Childress began his charity campaign when he visited the town drug store and learned of how many of the town's 900 residents couldn't afford their prescriptions.
He handed the owner of the store, Brooke Walker, a $100 bill.
“Here, this $100 is for anyone who can’t afford their prescription,” Walker recalled. “Do not tell a soul that the money came from me, tell them it’s a blessing from God.”
