Here's Today's Feel-Good Story:
Mandy Iworrigan's dog, Nanuq, disappeared one day in her far-north town of Nome, Alaska.
She worried that another dog led him astray in an unfamiliar part of the area. Mandy activated her Facebook account after Nanuq was gone for more than two weeks.
Mandy found that her dog was seen in a tiny town in Wales, a staggering 166 miles from her town!
“I have no idea why he ended up in Wales. Maybe the ice shifted while he was hunting,” Iworrigan said. “I’m pretty sure he ate leftovers of seal or caught a seal. Probably birds, too. He eats our Native foods. He’s smart.”
