When Krysten Risbon went into labor 16 weeks early, she was told her son Zaylan "wouldn't make it" because he was born so small.
He is now home and "thriving" after spending 181 days in a hospital.
His hole in his heart required constant oxygen and his mom, Krysten, is not studying to become an NICU nurse after being inspired by their care.
“When I first held him he could fit in my bra,” said the 22-year-old new mom from Altoona. “Now only his foot fits in. He’s a little fighter.”
