Being a new mom can be a whammy at times! I had SO much to learn, and I'm told that learning curve never ends. One big event happened early on in Kip's life that really had me panicking ... he was sick and miserable, the pediatrician was closed, and I didn't know where to take him. I knew it wasn't an emergency, but I also knew he needed help and relief that night. A mom at daycare told me about Nationwide Children's Hospital Urgent Care. We headed to the Dublin location and received excellent care tailored specifically to the needs of children. Kip was prescribed an antibiotic for a double ear infection that night, which quickly had him feeling better. PHEW. This experience got me to thinking, do parents know when to take their little one to an Urgent Care vs. an ER?
(Isn't this the most heartbreaking photo you've ever seen?!)

What a wake-up call! I've been a dog mom for ages and know exactly where to go if Rosie has an emergency, but I didn't know where to take Kip. #MOMFAIL. I have so much peace of mind knowing the Nationwide Children's Urgent Care locations.
It's never a good day when we need to go to a Nationwide Children's Urgent Care, but I'm so grateful we have this resource in Central Ohio. Little bodies need specialized care, and we're so lucky to have these top-rated facilities in our backyard. Kip agrees!
