Sophie Turner Had A Game Of Thrones Spoiler Tattooed On Her Arm For A Year

Game of Thrones actors were held to strict rules to make sure that details about the show's final season, especially the series finale, did not leak. Some were only given partial scripts and all of them had to sign airtight non-disclosure agreements. However, it turns out that there was a spoiler staring fans right in the face for the past year in the form of a tattoo actress Sophie Turner got. (Spoilers Ahead)

The ink, located on the back of the "Sansa" portrayer's arm, is of a dire wolf, the symbol of House Stark. Under the animal it says, "The pack survives," a statement made by "Sansa's" father, "Ned Stark," way back on the first episode and echoed by "Sansa" in season seven. Those who watched the finale know that the pack did indeed survive as the "Stark" siblings, "Sansa," "Arya" and "Bran," along with honorary "Stark" "Jon Snow," all survived.

It's hard to hide a tattoo like that and Sophie didn't, however she did deny that it had anything to do with the series. Last June, on The Late Late Show with James Corden, she explained, "When I was getting it done, people advised me not to because it looked like I was giving everything away, but I wasn't! It's just a quote from last season, but everyone figures that the pack really does survive, but it's just a moral that I like to live by."

Sophie is no stranger to Game of Thrones tats either. In 2016, she and her co-star, "Arya" actress Maisie Williams, got matching "07.08.09" tattoos to mark the day they were both cast in the hit HBO series.

Sophie also has a North Star constellation tattoo, possibly representing the fact that "Sansa" became the Queen of the North. Additionally, she has ink on her thigh of a woman looking over her shoulder. Many suspect that woman is "Sansa."

It's no surprise Sophie has devoted so much of her skin to the show - she first took on her role at age 13 and is now 23. In a tribute to the series on Instagram she wrote, "I grew up with you. I fell in love with you at 13 and now 10 years on... at 23 I leave you behind. But I will never leave behind what you’ve taught me... To the show and the incredible people who make it, thank you for giving me the best life and drama lessons I could have ever asked for. Without you I wouldn’t be the person I am today. Thank you for giving me this chance all those years ago."
