I've been binging 13 Reasons Why allll weekend. Watched 7 hours of it just yesterday and had to force myself to turn it off to go to bed. So why is it so good?! In my opinion, it has you hooked on the very first episode without even having to think twice about moving forward to the second episode. I usually hate the way high school kids are depicted as having the most profound adult thoughts in the world so I was pretty nervous that this show would do that too...but boy, was I wrong! The way the kids act and think is not only true to real life high school kids, but also real life adults. I keep finding myself relating to certain characters!
Long story short, it's totally worth the watch. I read the book years ago, so if you're into reading books before watching the show or movie, I highly recommend that, too.
Observer put together 13 reasons why you should watch the show and I agree with them!
1. It looks and sounds fantastic.
2. It uses non-linear storytelling in an intriguing fashion.
3. It's an excellent example of the "novelization of tv"
