Here's today's feel-good story:
GoodRx, a website and app that helps Americans with comparing drug prices, has launched an initiative to provide free medications to low-income patients who need them most.
The company has partnered with the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics to fully subsidize the cost of almost 1,000 medications in states such as California, Texas, New York, and Florida.
GoodRx has contributed almost $40 million to the initiative and is expected to provide over $5 million worth of medicine in the first year.
