Here's today's feel-good story:
Target is making it easier for its team members in the United States to get their degrees.
More than 340,000 full and part-time employees at stores, headquarters, and distribution centers will have access to free undergraduate and associates degrees programs thanks to a new debt-free education assistance benefit.
The store chain is partnering with education and upskilling platform Guild Education to provide access to more than 250 programs from over 40 schools!
“A significant number of our hourly team members build their careers at Target, and we know many would like to pursue additional education opportunities.” says Melissa Kremer, chief human resources officer of Target. “We don’t want the cost to be a barrier for anyone, and that’s where Target can step in to make education accessible for everyone.”
