How People Can Achieve Being In An "In The Flow" State

When someone describes being "in the zone" as being so concentrated on something that you aren't aware of what's happening around you, that's called being "in the flow."

“Flow is a state of peak enjoyment that occurs when you are doing something that is difficult and you are highly skilled at,” said the University of California, Davis, assistant professor of communication and cognitive science and author of a new paper on flow Richard Huskey,

Studies have shown that flow is good for mental health and can ward off depression.

Flow is said to involve a task that captures the user's attention so much that they can barely be distracted.
