The Best Way To Alleviate Anxiety Symptoms Is By Intensive Exercise

According to a new study, the best way to alleviate symptoms of anxiety without drugs or therapy is to exercise as hard as you can.

Scientists say that circuit training, which mixes both strength and cardio exercises, decreases muscle tension and boosts endorphins which eases feelings of anxiety.

Every member of the study showed improvement regardless of the intensity in which they worked out, but those that worked out harder showed more improvement.

“There was a significant intensity trend for improvement—that is, the more intensely they exercised, the more their anxiety symptoms improved," said Malin Henriksson, a doctoral student at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden.
