A worker at a company in South Korea has been crushed after a robot mistook him for the box of vegetables it was packaging. Police say the man in his 40s was checking the machine’s sensor for a test run on a new sorting line.
However, reports say the robotic arm at the produce distribution center, which had been operating for five years, pushed the worker against the conveyor belt and crushed his face and chest. The man, who was in his forties, unfortunately succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.
