Ever wondered how some 'couple names' get started? If you don't know who my celebrity crush is, well...Selena Gomez is one of my favorite people on earth, so we'd be "Maxlena" naturally!! Or maybe "Selax"...they both have a ring to them! There has been SOOOO much speculation about whether or not Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are together again. After her split from A-Rod and his from Jennifer Garner, these two exes are currently hanging out in Montana, fueling all of the rumors about a bounce back to "Bennifer".
We now know the origin of the name Bennifer which is the combination of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. It started with movie director Kevin Smith. "It's a name I first gave the kids during Jersey Girl pre-production before the world found out they were dating." He said he later dropped the nickname in a NY Times interview and from there everyone ran with it.
I'm thinking that they're prolly just enjoying each other's company & not looking for anything serious at the moment. But if things heat up like they did over 15 years ago, we might be using that nickname again...or how about a new one?? Why not go with "Jenfleck" or something???
