It's been a difficult week for the people of Montecito, California, where mudslides completely destroyed over 100 homes and killed at least 20 people.
Rob Lowe went on The Ellen Show to talk with Ellen DeGeneres about how people are recovering and how the town of Montecito is doing after such devastation.
Both Rob and Ellen live in the area and are experiencing the aftermath first hand.
Rob also brought footage of him helping out the relief efforts and talked about the devastation.
He detailed the morning of the mudslides, how he was out of town and got a FaceTime call from his son Matthew panicking over the fires and the storm.
Make sure you watch to the footage that Ellen's camera crews caught with Rob, it's so sad to see how torn up the town is and how people, if they do have their home still, may be evacuated until March.
