George Clooney Talks About His 'Prankster' Twins

"Money Monster" - Red Carpet Arrivals - The 69th Annual Cannes Film Festival

It's hard to believe it's almost been TWO full years since George Clooney and Amal Clooney welcomed their twins, Ella and Alexander into the world. But yes, their twins turn 2 in about a month, and George just recently opened up about their how different their personalities are, and how they're "pranksters" like their dad.

He chatted with Savannah Guthrie at TODAY about his upcoming Hulu miniseries as well as life at home, and let's face it, we'll take any conversation about life at home for the Clooneys as we can!

“They really come out with the personalities that they’re born with. My daughter will be like, ‘Sit down!’ and [Alexander] will sit down. They’re just completely different personalities and they’re fun and smart."

He gushed on just how smart they are - and it's making me feel like I have to work hard with my twins this next year so they can catch up to George and Amal's kids!!

"They already can … do all their ABCs in Italian and in English, and I can’t do that — in English!”

Despite Ella and Alexander about to turn 2, he says they're "good" and "happy kids" who laugh a lot and that "they’re not terrible twos.”

But they are pranksters: “[They] put peanut butter on their shoes so that it looks like poo-poo on their shoes and stuff, and they think that’s funny."

So I guess my husband and I have that to look forward to! I feel like one kid won't necessarily pull pranks on their own... but when they have a partner in crime? Oh, they're going to have a field day!

Ah, parenthood. What a beautiful and exhausting thing. But hey, hopefully this just means the terrible twos aren't a thing for EVERYONE??
