Movie Studios Are Releasing New Films On-Demand Amid Coronavirus

Quarantine and chill continues. Amid the rapidly spreading Coronavirus outbreak, movie studios are releasing new films on-demand for viewers to enjoy in the comfort of their own home.

President Donald Trump issued restrictions across America earlier this week, encouraging people practice social distancing and avoid gatherings with more than 10 people. Bans have also been placed on restaurants, bars, and, of course, now movie theaters.

Universal Pictures announced on Monday that Focus Features will make films such as "The Invisible Man," "The Hunt" and "Emma" available to rent on-demand on Friday. You can stream the films on services such as Comcast, Sky, Apple and Amazon for $19.99 per film for 48 hours.

DreamWorks Animation is also set to release “Trolls World Tour" on demand starting on April 10 and Disney+ has since released Frozen 2 early.
