This summer, 10-year-old Maxx Raser from San Ramon, California, was watching the news at his grandmother’s house when he saw a story about Bryan Tsiliacos, who was on a mission to complete 30 acts of kindness for his 30th birthday. Maxx decided to celebrate his own upcoming birthday by performing 10 acts of kindness.

His first act involved making hundreds of ham and cheese sandwiches for a San Francisco homeless shelter. Maxx reached out to Bryan, who gladly joined him in delivering the sandwiches. The moment marked a successful start to Maxx's mission and a full-circle moment for Bryan, who’d hoped his kindness initiative might inspire others. Now he had proof that was the case.

Maxx is showing that anyone at any age can make a difference in their community through acts of compassion and generosity. His commitment to kindness after learning about Bryan’s mission shows how acts of kindness can have a ripple effect and spread goodwill.
