Well, this last week I learned that no parent is perfect.
Even when you think you've got it handled, then something happens and you think... "ah, yes, this is parenthood!"
For me, that moment came last week. I had a bit of a mishap while cooking breakfast for the entire family... I was making eggs, like, a lot of eggs, and accidentally spilled some out onto the stove top. Instinctively I said "oh s***!" aaaaand right away Aiza started repeating after me.
I'm not sure if what I did was the right way to handle it, but I just tried my best to not acknowledge it so that she didn't think it was too big of a deal.
