John Warren Geils, founder of The J. Geils Band, was found dead in his home tonight. He was 71.
Police say John's body was found in his home in Groton, Massachusetts and that the death is not suspicious.
You may know the J. Geils Band from the songs "Love Stinks" in 1980, and "Centerfold" and "Freeze Frame,"in 1981.
The J. Geils band was SO big in the early '80s that the Eagles, U2 and Billy Joel all OPENED concerts for them.
