Ice Spice had the perfect response to fans who boo'd her while she performed her hit collaboration with Taylor Swift.
The Bronx rapper took her talents to Austria on Sunday, July 7, and performed on the final day of Rolling Loud Europe. She started her set with her early hits like "Munch" and "Gangsta Boo" with Lil Tjay. However, midway through her set, she got into her pop bag by busting out her verse on Taylor Swift's "Karma (Remix)." In video from the show's livestream, you can see Ice Spice blow a kiss at the haters while they held up L's and gave her thumbs down.
Ice Spice didn't seem bothered by the fan's reaction to her set. Although she didn't give them much attention, her fans and supportive Swifties defended her online. Some people pointed out how she gracefully handled the situation. Other critics cited that most of the crowd were men who weren't feeling Taylor Swift's music at a rap festival.
"Imagine going to an Ice Spice set then booing Taylor Swift when their collab plays. what losers," one X user said.
Ice Spice's set at Rolling Loud Europe comes a few weeks before her debut album is set to drop. She spent the past year releasing singles from the album including her recent track "Phat Butt," "Gimme A Light" and the album's first single "Think U The S**t (Fart)," which is a diss track aimed at Latto. Y2K! will arrive on July 26.
