Adam Devine was hit by a cement truck when he was a child and still has gruesome scars from the scary incident.
The Workaholics standout appeared on the Monday (June 2) episode of Conan O'Brien Needs A Friend and showed the former talk show host the irreversible harm the cement truck inflicted.
"I was hit by a cement truck as a little boy. I was on my bike." Devine proceeded to lift his leg to reveal a gruesome wound he obtained from the frightening incident. O'Brien gasped as the Pitch Perfect actor displayed a rough-looking patch of skin that extended his calf.
"It looks like uncooked chicken, but it is my leg," he proceeded, "The skin was ripped off. And the other leg was a little better, but it's half the leg. I broke everything from the knees down, and they had to reconstruct my legs. And then my left femur, some ribs, and a punctured lung. I was bleeding out of my ears, but they were like 'no brain damage.'"
In April, Devine revealed that within the last year, a doctor told him that he is still at risk of health complications from the accident he endured when he was 11.
"I was having spasms all over. And I still kind of do. For a while, they told me I was dying. Within this last year, they told me that. They told me I have this disease called Stiff Person Syndrome, and that's when your muscles get so tight that you can no longer walk. You can no longer move, and then your heart will stop beating."
