Here's today's feel-good story:
Ahead of sight and smell, sound is what sets off the best memories for people according to a new poll.
Sounds like birds singing and waves crashing on the shore are among the top sounds that people attribute to good memories.
Gordon Harrison, chief audiologist at Specsavers, commissioned the survey and said “Sound impacts most aspects of our lives, so it is no surprise that certain sounds trigger happy youthful memories.”
The top five sounds include:
- Music or a song
- Waves on the shore
- Bird songs
- Walking on fresh snow
