Here's Today's Feel-Good Story:
Ami Juel and her family just recently returned from a family vacation in Hawaii with her husband and five-year-old son Edison.
They were watching the news showing the devastation of the Lhaina fires when Edison asked them to turn it off because it made him sad.
Edison wanted to help, so he decided to set up a lemonade stand, and stocked up on popsicles, lemonade, ice cream sandwiches, candy, and more!
“Most people were like, ‘this is so cool. What a great idea. We’ve been looking for ways to help. We felt so helpless and didn’t know where to donate,'” Ami said. “A lot of people came by and stopped and told us like their story of a trip to Hawaii or some connection they had to the island.”
