Here's Today's Feel-Good Story:
A new genetic study has found that joint disease and obesity can be helped by drinking coffee.
The effects that caffeine has on the body include metabolism, appetite, and exercise which all contribute to weight loss. Caffeine may also have anti-inflammatory properties that can help joint disease.
“Firstly, caffeine is known to stimulate the central nervous system,” said Steven Fiore, MD, a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and the founder of Cannabis MD Telemed, “which can increase metabolism and promote the breakdown of fat cells. This increased metabolic rate can potentially aid in weight management and reduce the risk of obesity.”
