Cynthia Erivo is living in the moment and watching her "wildest dreams" come true.

The Wicked star appeared on the November 13 episode of Las Culturistas for a lengthy chat with hosts Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang that included how she feels about seeing her "Broadway family" react to the movie adaptation of the beloved musical.

The Tony Award winner, who portrays Elphaba opposite Ariana Grande's Glinda, shared an "out of body" anecdote about a recent screening of Wicked for members of the Broadway community complete with many of the Glindas and Elphabas that came before them. As the movie played, Erivo stood in the back of the theater and watched "the laughs and the tears that happened immediately."

"I'm getting to show this film that is from Broadway to a Broadway family, from which I belong, I just had like a massive, not even a meltdown, but like a real realization of the journey that I've been on and what it might mean to them and what it might mean to me," she said. "It was already a big moment, but that became a really huge moment to be a part of."

While speaking on what their response meant to her, Erivo referenced a moment from Madonna: Truth or Dare documentary where the queen of pop was nervous to perform in her home town.

"She's shaking and she goes, 'It shouldn't matter, but it does matter what they think,' and I was like, that's the case," she said. "It does matter what this legacy, what this room thinks of this piece. To be in the room whilst they were accepting it and open armed for it was beyond my wildest dreams."

On the November 6 episode of the podcast, Yang and Rogers spoke with Erivo's Wicked co-star Ariana Grande for a wide-ranging chat that included "over eager" apologies, hilariously spot-on impressions and Grande's "scary" plans for what's next in her career.
