Since I just moved to Columbus a few months ago, you could say sometimes I am a bit 'out of the loop' about 'norm' things here in Cbus!
I was hyped to find out that June 14th AKA 6/14 AKA 614 DAY is a holiday here in Columbus! Last year, was the first year that the Columbus City Council recognized '614 Day' as an OFFICIAL holiday in the city. Hell ya!
First thing I thought was-- so what does '614 Day' mean!? I dug a bit and UM YES, count me in! A day to celebrate all our capital has to offer! But the main theme is LOCAL--Drink Local, Shop Local, Buy Local, Celebrate Local -- a day to highlight all the city has to offer and show our pride for this amazing community.
SO, because #2020, 614 Day is a bit different this year BUT i'd say more powerful than ever!
614 Day is an opportunity to celebrate our community's strength and support local businesses. With the year we have had, it's important to build our community back and come out stronger than ever.
